Lamarre, Pacheco, Sheehan Garner All-NEISDA Honors

SOUTH KINGSTON, R.I. – Senior Elizabeth Lamarre (Dartmouth, Mass.), junior Brooke Pacheco (Bristol, R.I.) and sophomore Brian Sheehan (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) earned All-NEISDA honors during day one of the 2015 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Division II/III Championships held at the University of Rhode Island on Friday.

Lamarre posted a score of 309.95 points on the one-meter diving board to place fourth in the event, while Pacheco finished fifth with 309.20 points.  The top eight place-winners in each event garner All-NEISDA honors.

Sheehan recorded a score of 302.95 points to finish fifth on the one-meter plank on the men's side.

The BSU women's team is currently in tenth place with 182 points following the first day of competition.  Keene State College sits atop the team standings with 580.5 points followed by Roger Williams University (519.5 pts.) and Simmons College (357 pts.).

The men's squad has 55 team points after day one.  Keene State leads the way with 370 points with Roger Williams (218 pts.) in second place and Norwich University (186.5 pts.) in third.

The three-day championship event continues on Saturday morning with the preliminary round getting underway at ten.
