WESTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team posted a 126-104 victory over Regis College on Saturday at the Regis Athletic Arena.

Freshman Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) paced the Bears as she placed first in the 100 butterfly (1:08.33).  Grant also swam a leg on the Bears' winning 200 freestyle relay squad (1:51.25) along with fellow rookies Amanda Brennen (Waltham, Mass.) and Mikaila Williams (Hyde Park, Mass.) as well as senior Sarah Rechtiene (Southbury, Conn.).

Senior Kristen Carey (East Taunton, Mass.) placed first in the 500 freestyle (5:54.66), while senior diver Elizabeth Lamarre (Dartmouth, Mass.) posted an 11-dive score of 299.90 points to place first on the one-meter diving board.

On Tuesday night, the Bears travel to UMass Dartmouth to take on the Corsairs at six.
