NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Sophomores Loren Phinney (Holbrook, Mass.) and Rhiannon White (Falmouth, Mass.) each won individual events to lead the Bridgewater State University women's swimming and diving team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

There were no team standings kept as it was a non-scoring meet.

Phinney placed first in three events with wins in the 1,650 freestyle (19:08.98), 100 freestyle (:57.61) and 500 freestyle (5:38.60).  White took home top honors in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:07.33.

The BSU swimming and diving teams will be back in action next Saturday when the Bears host Roger Williams University at 2:00 PM.
