Women's Swimming Ties for 17th Place at NEISDA Championships

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- The Bridgewater State College women's swimming & diving team finished tied for 17th place out of a 22-team field at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Division II/III Championships held at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center in White River Junction, Vermont.

The Bears tallied 84 points during the three-day event.  Keene State College won the team title with 924 points followed by Bentley University (802) and Eastern Connecticut State University (709).

Freshman Rhiannon White (Falmouth, MA) was the lone BSC swimmer in Sunday evening's finals.  White placed tenth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:21.32.
