Courtney Pepin Named MASCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior forward Courtney Pepin has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

A native of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Pepin scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the Bears’ 2-1 win on the road over Worcester State University this past weekend. Both teams entered the game unbeaten in conference play.

Through 12 games this season, Pepin has recorded a team-best seven goals to go along with an assist for 15 points. She is tied for third in the MASCAC in both goals and game-winning goals (2), and is tied for fourth in scoring.

In 69 games over four seasons with the Bears, Pepin has amassed 16 goals and 11 assists for 43 points. Five of her 16 career markers have been game-winners. Pepin has never missed a game over the course of her collegiate career.

The BSU women’s soccer team is currently 8-4 on the season and a perfect 4-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears host conference rival Westfield State University on Saturday at noon.
