Senior midfielder Brooke Pacheco (Bristol, R.I.), senior forward Marissa Yowell (Ashland, Mass.), junior midfielder Allyson Pontes (Dartmouth, Mass.) and sophomore goaltender Lauren DeSousa (Taunton, Mass.) each garnered second team honors. All four are making their first career appearance on the All-MASCAC Women's Soccer Team.

Pacheco has played in all 18 games this year with 16 starts. She netted her first career goal in the Bears' 4-0 MASCAC win over Mass. Maritime Academy earlier this season.

Pontes checks in with two goals and two assists for six points in 17 games including 16 starts.

DeSousa is 10-7 with six shutouts and a 1.19 goals against average in 17 appearances (16 starts) between the pipes for the Bears. She also has 91 saves to her credit and a .820 save percentage. DeSousa is currently tied for the MASCAC lead in wins and ranks second in shutouts and third in both goals against average and minutes played (1515:01).

The BSU women's soccer team is presently 10-7-1 (5-2 MASCAC) on the season. Seeded third in this week's MASCAC Tournament, the Bears knocked off #6 MCLA, 3-1, in an opening round match on Tuesday night to advance to the semifinal round.
