BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University freshman Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week.

Wysong placed 28th out of a field of 162 harriers at the 48th Codfish Bowl held at Franklin Park in Dorchester this past weekend.  The Taunton, Massachusetts native covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 28:16.

As a squad, Bridgewater State placed fourth out of 16 team entries at the meet.

After a week off, the Bears will compete at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday, October 8th.
