NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Freshman Trevor Wysong (Taunton, Mass.) placed 40th to lead the Bridgewater State University men's cross country team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

The Bears finished 11th overall in the team standings. AIC captured the team title followed by Connecticut College in second place and Stonehill College in third.

Wysong covered the eight-kilometer layout in a time of 26:30.30. Junior Mitchell Byrne of AIC checked in with the winning time of 24:50.51.

BSU senior Justin Lucier (Attleboro, Mass.) was the next Bear to cross the finish line as he posted a time of 26:36.01 to finish 41st overall. Junior Joseph Kisamore (Attleboro, Mass.) capped off BSU's top three runners with a time of 26:55.28. Kisamore placed 56th out of a field of 242 harriers.

Next Saturday, the Bears will compete at the 48th Annual Codfish Bowl held at Franklin Park in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
