WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Members of the Bridgewater State University men's cross country team competed at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park on Saturday.

Senior John Breault (South Dartmouth, Mass.) was the Bears' top runner as he completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 28:25.67 to finish 135th overall out of a field of 303 harriers.

Freshman Benjamin Gordon (Holbrook, Mass.) was next across the line for BSU as he posted a time of 30:16.98 (236th place).  Junior Greg Hamalian (West Bridgewater, Mass.) rounded out the Bears' top three runners as he recorded a time of 30:51.95 (253rd place).

Bridgewater State finished 35th in the team standings.  Williams College captured the team title followed by Tufts University in second place and Amherst College in the third spot.

Next Weekend, the Bears compete at the New England Division III Championships hosted by Williams College.
