Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Tri-State Invitational

LINCOLN, R.I. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team placed fourth at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI-Lincoln on Saturday.

Senior Dallas O'Brien (Mansfield, Mass.) paced the Bears as he finished ninth overall out of a field of 104 runners. O'Brien covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 28:30.92.

Sophomores Luke Devin (Westwood, Mass.) and Justin Lucier (Attleboro, Mass.) were the next two Bears across the finish line.  Devin finished 11th with a time of 28:41.99, while Lucier placed 21st with a time of 29:49.89.

Freshmen Joseph Kisamore (Attleboro, Mass.) and James Terzian (Westwood, Mass.) rounded out the Bears' top five harriers in 25th (29:56.18) and 32nd (30:16.71) place, respectively.

Wentworth placed first in the team standings followed by Eastern Connecticut State University and Mass. Maritime Academy.

Next Saturday, the BSU cross country teams will compete at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
