Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Tri-State Invitational

LINCOLN, R.I. – The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team finished fourth out of ten teams at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI on Saturday in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

Junior Dallas O'Brien (Mansfield, Mass.) was the top finisher for the Bears as he completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 27:49.21 to place third out of a field of 78 runners.

Sophomore Mark Waller (Andover, Mass.) was next across the line for Bridgewater with a tenth-place time of 25:05.92.  He was followed by freshman Benjamin DiNobile (East Greenwich, R.I.) in 17th place (30:03.35).  Freshman Andrew Single (Walpole, Mass.) rounded out the BSU harriers in the top 30 as he finished 27th overall (30:53.90).

Next Saturday, the Bears will compete at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
