BOSTON, Mass. -- Junior Joseph Keough (Walpole, Mass.), freshman John Lara (South Boston, Mass.), sophomore Joshua Higgins (Fitchburg, Mass.) and senior Joseph Kisamore (Attleboro, Mass.) broke the BSU men's indoor track & field record in the distance medley relay on Friday evening at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic.

Keough, Lara, Higgins and Kisamore posted a time of 10:20.44 to place eighth in the event at the meet. The foursome eclipsed the previous BSU indoor mark of 10:22.69 set by Adrian Higgins, Justin Lucier, Kisamore and Michael Kotleski in 2016.

The DMR featured five Division I teams, three from Division II and and three from Division III.

The Terrier Classic continues on Saturday. Members of the BSU men's track & field team will also be competing at the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday.
