SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Qualifying members of the Bridgewater State University men's outdoor track & field team competed during day one of the 2015 ECAC Division III Championships on Thursday hosted by Springfield College.

Freshman Cameron Williamson (Easton, Mass.) placed ninth in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 45 feet, 7.75 inches (13.91 meters).

Junior Andrew Couture (Dighton, Mass.) finished 16th in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 seconds, while senior Joseph Danner-Hicks (Haverhill, Mass.) placed 22nd with a time of 11.13 seconds.

The ECAC championship meet continues on Friday with field events getting underway at 11:00 AM and track events beginning at noon.
