PAXTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's tennis team posted a 7-2 non-conference win over host Anna Maria College on Saturday evening at the Paxton Sports Center.

The Bear improve to 2-1 with their second straight win, while the AMCATS remain winless on the season at 0-3.

Bridgewater sophomore Hung Huynh (Worcester, Mass.) was 2-0 on the day, scoring a straight set win at the No. 3 singles slot while teaming with senior Jesse Gotlib (Dartmouth, Mass.) for an 8-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Seniors Cody Farrell (Scituate, Mass.) and Eric Johnson (Kingston, Mass.), and freshman Matt McGee (Warren, R.I.) also posted straight set wins at the second, fourth and fifth singles flights respectively.

Bridgewater also picked up wins by forfeit at third doubles and sixth singles.

The Bears travel to Wheaton College on Tuesday afternoon to take on the Lyons at 3:30.
