Timucin Marino joined the Bears’ swimming & diving coaching staff as a volunteer assistant swim coach in the summer of 2023. Timucin is a 2021 graduate of BSU where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science. He is currently finishing his Masters in Education degree (M E.d) in Strength and Conditioning at Springfield College for Spring 2024. 

Timucin was a three-year member of the Bears’ men’s swimming & diving team from 2017-2020 where he served as a Bear Up representative his sophomore year. Timucin was a second place finisher his freshman year in the 1000 freestyle during the 2018 NEISDA Championship, and a third place finisher in the 1650 freestyle during the 2019 NEISDA Championship. At BSU, Timucin was also heavily involved on campus with having multiple positions such as a lifeguard, the BSU mascot Bristaco, a Student Orientation Leader ‘19, a Crimson Alumni Ambassador, and joining Sigma Pi Fraternity in 2019.

In 2020, Timucin served as a volunteer assistant swim coach with the Bridgewater-Raynham High School swim team in Bridgewater, Mass.

Timucin currently resides in Bridgewater and is employed as a fitness consultant at The Edge Fitness Clubs in Attleboro.
