KINGSTON, R.I. -- Bridgewater State University seniors Sean Flaherty (North Andover, Mass.) and Timucin Marino (East Greenwich, R.I.) along with freshmen Chris Anastasiades (Wakefield, Mass.) and Ben Wilkinson (Reading, England) placed fourth in the 800 freestyle relay on Thursday evening during day one of the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships held at the URI Tootell Aquatic Center.

The foursome posted a time of 7:20.12 as they were 16.69 seconds faster than their seeded time.

The four-day NEISDA championship meet continues on Friday with preliminary events getting underway at 10:00 AM and finals at 6:00 PM. Diving will take place at 2:30 PM.
