Men's Swimming & Diving Wins Seven Events at Gordon College.

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team competed against Gordon College in a non-scoring meet on Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center.

The Bears placed first in seven out of the fourteen events including both relays.

The foursome of seniors Giulian Santos (Framingham, Mass.) and Jameson Rose (Somerset, Mass.), and juniors Sean Flaherty (North Andover, Mass.) and Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.) opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay (1:46.40). Santos, Rose, Flaherty and junior Cameron Carnese (Framingham, Mass.) claimed victory in the 200 freestyle relay (1:38.26) to cap off the meet.

Santos and Rose paced the Bears with two individual event wins apiece. Santos placed first in the 50 freestyle (22.66) and 50 butterfly (24.74), while Rose was the first to touch the wall in the 100 butterfly (58.07) and the 100 backstroke (56.95).

Flaherty also captured top honors in the 100 freestyle (52.34)

After the Thanksgiving holiday break, the Bears will be hosting the BSU Invitational on Saturday, December 1st at noon.
