Smith Finishes 32nd in 200 IM at NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Bridgewater State University senior Richard Smith (Milford, Mass.) finished 32nd in the preliminaries of the 200 individual medley during the opening day of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday morning at the IU Natatorium on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

Smith posted a time of 1:52.96 to finish 32nd out of a field of 48 swimmers.

The national championship meet continues for Smith this week as he will compete in the 400 individual medley on Thursday and the 200 breaststroke on Saturday.
