Dylon Willis Sets BSU Swim Record in 100 Breaststroke

NEW LONDON, N.H. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.) eclipsed the BSU men's swimming record in the 100 breaststroke at the Colby-Sawyer Invitational on Saturday.

Willis posted a winning time of 59.97 seconds as he broke Paul Harrington's previous school mark of 1:00.18 set nearly 20 years ago in 1997. Willis is the first BSU swimmer to be under a minute in the event.

The BSU men's swimming & diving team placed first out of five teams at the meet with a score of 521 points.
