BABSON PARK, Mass. -- Junior Richard Smith (Milford, Mass.) and sophomore Alexander Belinsky (Norton, Mass.) each won two individual events to lead the visiting Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team against Babson College on Thursday evening at Morse Pool.

Babson won the meet by a score of 124-104 as the host Beavers improve to 4-6 in dual meet competition. The Bears fall to 3-4 with the setback.

Smith captured top honors in the 200 individual medley (2:02.97) and the 200 breaststroke (2:13.47).

Belinsky placed first on both the one-meter and three-meter diving boards. He recorded a score of 219.55 points on the one-meter board, and 214.45 points on the three-meter. Belinsky was competing on the three-meter board for the first time in his diving career.

The BSU men's swimming & diving team returns to action on Saturday afternoon at one as the Bears travel to Brandeis University for a tri-match with Brandeis and Keene State College.
