Men's Swimming & Diving Records Four Wins in Setback to Wheaton

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team recorded four first place performances in a 160.5-73.5 setback to Wheaton College on Wednesday evening at the Moriarty Pool.

The Bears' foursome of junior Richard Smith (Milford, Mass.), freshman Dylon Willis (Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomores Alexander Belinsky (Norton, Mass.) and Jameson Rose (Somerset, Mass.) opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.90.

Rose also captured top honors in the 1,000 freestyle (10:34.81), while Smith placed first in the 50 backstroke (25.64).

Freshman Giulian Santos (Framingham, Mass.) also tied for first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.16 seconds.

The Bears (1-3) host Clark University on Saturday afternoon at two.
