Rose Leads Men's Swimming & Diving Against Keene State

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Freshman Jameson Rose won two individual events and swam on a winning relay to lead the Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team against Keene State College on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears dropped a 216-79 decision to the visiting Owls.

Rose placed first in the 200 freestyle with a career-best time of 1:49.73. He also captured top honors in the 100 backstroke with a career-best mark of 56.31 seconds.

The Bears' 200 freestyle relay squad featuring Rose, senior Matt O'Brien (Whitman, Mass.) and sophomores Max Medina (Marion, Mass.) and Benjamin O'Connor (East Longmeadow, Mass.) posted a winning time of 1:34.27.

The BSU swimming & diving teams will entertain Division II Bentley University on Tuesday evening at six. The meet marks the final home contest of the season for the Bears.
