Men's Swimming & Diving Drops 130-90 Decision to Babson

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 130-90 decision to visiting Babson College on Thursday evening at the Moriarty Pool.

The visiting Beavers improve to 6-4 in dual meet competition on the season, while the Bears fall to 3-7.

Junior Brian Sheehan (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) swept the diving competition as he placed first on both boards. Sheehan recorded a score of 216.15 points on the one-meter board and 204.90 points on the three-meter.

The Bears' 400 freestyle relay team of senior Matt O'Brien (Whitman, Mass.), sophomores Max Medina (Marion, Mass.) and Benjamin O'Connor (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and freshman Jameson Rose (Somerset, Mass.) notched first place points in the 400 freestyle relay as they posted a time of 3:21.61.

The Bears are back in the pool on Friday evening when they host Brandeis University at six.
