Rose Leads Men's Swimming & Diving Against Clark

WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 183-103 decision to host Clark University on Saturday afternoon at Kneller Pool.

Freshman Jameson Rose (Somerset, Mass.) paced the visiting Bears as he captured two individual events and one relay.

Rose grabbed top honors in both the 200 backstroke (2:04.35) and the 100 butterfly (56.42). He also swam a leg on BSU's first place 200 freestyle relay squad (1:32.46) along with sophomores Max Medina (Marion, Mass.), Benjamin O'Connor (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and Charles Anderson (Avon, Conn.)

The Bears slip to 1-4 in dual meet action on the season, while the host Cougars improve to 1-1.

Bridgewater is off until next Saturday afternoon as the Bears host Gordon College at 2:00 PM.
