Tully Breaks 200 Breaststroke Mark at ECAC Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Bridgewater State University senior Philip Tully (Cedar Grove, N.J.) broke the 15-year old BSU school mark in the 200 breaststroke at the ECAC Open Swimming and Diving Championships held at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on Sunday.

Tully posted a time of 2:10.90 to placed 22nd in the event versus predominantly Division I and Division II swimmers.  He eclipsed Paul Harrington's previous school mark of 2:11.88 set back in 1997.

Tully is the first BSU men's swimmer to break a school record since Hajime Yoshimura in 2003 (100 IM).
