Tully Leads Men's Swimming & Diving on Senior Night

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. --The Bridgewater State University men's swimming and diving team dropped a 115-61 decision to visiting Babson College on Senior Night at the Mary Jo Moriarty Pool on Thursday.

With the loss, Bridgewater falls to 1-8 overall in dual meet action while Babson improves to 7-4.

Prior to the meet, the Bears honored senior Philip Tully (Cedar Grove, N.J.) who was competing in the final home meet of his career.

Tully took part in three events on the evening for Bridgewater State highlighted by a first place finish in the 100 breaststroke with an impressive season-best time of 1:03.63. He also swam a leg on the Bears' third place 200 medley relay (1:50.33), and was the second to touch the wall in the 500 freestyle (5:39.44).

In upcoming action, the Bears will host their annual Alumni Meet on Saturday.  The following Saturday, February 4th, Bridgewater will take on WPI in the regular season finale for both teams.  The meet will take place at Clark University.
