BRISTOL, R.I. – The Bridgewater State University men's swimming and diving team lost to host Roger Williams University by a score of 103-73 on Saturday afternoon.
The host Hawks began the day by taking the top two spots in the 400 Medley Relay for an early 15-2 lead – a lead they would not relinquish. RWU would also claim the top three spots in the 1000 freestyle behind Tim Ragan (10:27.30), Jason Spazzarini (10:59.19), and Rob Schapp (11:30.11).
Senior Philip Tully (Cedar Grove, N.J.) paced the visitors with a second place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.25). Sophomore Erick DalMolin (Springfield, Mass.) also placed second for the Bears in the three-meter diving competition (114.90 pts).
The BSU men's swimming and diving team is off until Tuesday, December 6th when the Bears host Gordon College at 6:00 PM.
