Crocker, Ferdinand Lead Men's Swimming at UMD Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Senior Michael Crocker (Hanover, Mass.) and freshman Gerard Ferdinand (Stoneham, Mass.) each won individual events to lead the Bridgewater State University men's swimming and diving team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

There were no team standings kept as it was a non-scoring meet.

Crocker placed first in two events with wins in the 50 freestyle (:23.53) and 100 freestyle (:52.30).  Ferdinand took home top honors in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 20:24.64.

The BSU swimming and diving teams will be back in action next Saturday when the Bears host Roger Williams University at 2:00 PM.
