Freddie Beckmann joined the Bridgewater State men's soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2023. Freddie is a 2022 graduate of Regis College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and exercise science with a minor in nutrition and athletic coaching.
Freddie played four seasons at goalkeeper for the Regis men's soccer team from 2018 to 2022. He appeared in 36 games (28 starts) between the pipes for the Pride and noched ten wins and six shutouts to go along with a 1.82 goals against average as well as a .750 save percentage. He was a three-time Academic All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) selection.
Freddie has worked as a substitute teacher at Tri-County Regional High School in his hometown of Franklin Massachusetts. He also started a soccer coaching business in Franklin coaching in either group sessions or individual athletes.
