BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University sophomore midfielder Kane Moran has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Moran tallied three goals and an assist for seven points in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears. The Perth, Australia native netted a pair of goals, including the game-winner in overtime, in a 3-2 non-conference victory at Roger Williams University. He also scored a goal and added an assist as the Bears rallied for a 3-2 MASCAC win over Salem State University.

Through 11 games this season, Moran has four goals and an assist for nine points. He is currently tied for second in the MASCAC in game-winning goals with two.

In 33 games over his first two seasons with the Bears, Moran has amassed seven goals and three assists for 17 points. Three of his seven career goals have been game-winners

The BSU men's soccer team is currently 5-5-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in the MASCAC standings. The Bears travel to non-conference foe MIT on Wednesday night for a seven o'clock game with the Engineers.
