BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- After finishing the regular season with a 10-8-1 record, Bridgewater State University has been selected as the number three seed for the 2014 ECAC Division III New England Men's Soccer Championships.

The tournament is an eight-team field with quarterfinal, semifinal and championship rounds.

The Bears will host #6 Curry College (10-9-1) in a quarterfinal round contest on Wednesday, November 12th at 7:00 PM.  The remainder of the tournament will take place on Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th at the highest remaining seed.

Norwich University (13-6-2) is the top seed at the tournament followed by #2 Endicott College (9-7-4), #3 Bridgewater, #4 Colby-Sawyer College (11-6-2), #5 Albertus Magnus College (11-6-2), #6 Curry, #7 Elms College (9-8-3) and #8 Lesley University (10-6-4).

In other three quarterfinal round matchups, Norwich hosts Lesley at 7:00 PM, Endicott entertains Elms at 4:00 PM, and Colby-Sawyer welcomes Albertus Magnus at 2:00 PM.

Game times for the semifinals and championship round will be announced later this week.
