2014-2015 MASCAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Team (PDF)

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Kyle Gibson has been named as a first team selection on the 2014-2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Basketball All-Conference Team.

In 24 games this season, Gibson is averaging 15.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. The Franklin, Massachusetts native is also shooting 48% (119-250) from the floor, 76% (118-155) at the free throw line and 37% (10-27) from three-point range.

Gibson, who earned All-MASCAC Second Team accolades last season, currently ranks fourth in the MASCAC in scoring as well as eighth in rebounding, field goal percentage and free throw percentage. He is also ninth in the conference in blocked shots (0.8 bpg).

In 90 games over four seasons with the Bears, Gibson has amassed 945 points, 426 rebounds, 98 assists, 55 blocked shots and 79 steals.

The BSU men's basketball team wrapped up regular season play with an overall record of 17-7 including a 10-2 mark in conference competition. Seeded second in the MASCAC Tournament, the Bears will host a semifinal round game against #3 seed Fitchburg State University on Thursday night at 7:30.
