Jackson, who hails from Everett, Massachusetts, is no stranger to all-conference honors. He was named to the All-MASCAC Second Team for the third straight year after capturing the MASCAC Rookie of the Year award as a freshman in 2007-2008.

In 22 games this season, Jackson is averaging 15.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 48% (129-268) from the floor.  He presently ranks third in the MASCAC in both assists and assist to turnover ratio (+1.2), and is fifth among the conference scoring leaders.

In four seasons at Bridgewater State, Jackson has scored 1,428 points which is good for eighth all-time in the Bears' 1,000-point club.  He arrived at BSU in 2007 and made an immediate impact scoring 315 points (12.1 ppg) during his Rookie of the Year campaign.  Jackson followed that up with 388 points (13.9 ppg) in 2008-2009 and 394 (14.6 ppg) a season ago.

The Bridgewater State men's basketball team is currently 17-9 on the season.  The Bears, who tied for second in the MASCAC regular season standings with a 7-5 conference mark, knocked off Worcester State in the MASCAC Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday night, 88-77.  The number three seed in the tournament, Bridgewater will take on second-seeded MCLA in semifinal action on Thursday night (7:00) in North Adams.
