Mattheau Gaudet joined the Bears’ football coaching staff in the summer of 2023 after spending four seasons on the offensive line for the Bears. A 2023 graduate of Bridgewater State where he earned a Bachelor of   Science degree in criminal justice, Matt started every game (21) over his final two seasons and earned All-MASCAC Second Team honors at center in 2022. The 2022 Bears went 7-4 and posted a 34-24 win over Catholic University in the New England Bowl. Matt and his fellow starting linemen garnered D3football.com Team of the Week honors for their outstanding performance in a 45-0 win over Worcester State in October of 2022. He was also selected to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society. Matt is a graduate assistant in the criminal justice department at Bridgewater State and is working towards his masters in criminal justice with a certificate in cyber security.
