Title: Assistant Coach (Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks)

Coach Callahan is in his ninth consecutive season on the BSU football coaching staff and 12th overall.  He also coached at Bridgewater State from 2004 to 2006. Pat was promoted to Co-Offensive Coordinator prior to the 2012 season and also serves as a recruiting coordinator.    

A native of Middleboro, Mass, Callahan was a standout performer on the gridiron at Bridgewater State, and continued his football playing days as a member of the Middleboro Cobras in the Eastern Football League.  Pat previously served as an assistant coach at Middleboro High School as he was the Sachems' head freshman coach in 1998.  Prior to joining the Bears' coaching staff in 2004, he was a receivers coach at Stonehill College for one season and he has also served on the staff of numerous camps and clinics in the area, including his alma mater's youth camp.

A 2002 Bridgewater State graduate, Pat quarterbacked the Bears to an NEFC championship in 2000 as well as a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.  In his two seasons at Bridgewater, he passed for 1,779 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Coach Callahan presently resides in Hingham, Massachusetts.  He is currently a middle school Physical Education teacher in Hingham.
