Worcester Telegram & Gazette sportswriter Jennifer Toland wrote a feature story on Bridgewater State junior running back Adam Couch.

Couch was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week earlier this week. The junior Winchendon, Massachusetts native has carried the ball 90 times for 484 yards and five touchdowns though four games this season as he is averaging 5.4 yards per carry and 121.0 yards per game.

Couch currently leads the MASCAC in rushing attempts, rushing yards (total and per game) and rushing touchdowns, and is tied for the conference lead in scoring (30 pts.). He also ranks among the top 25 Division III running backs in rushing yards, rushing yards per game and rushing touchdowns.
