Listen Live to Saturday's Football Game at Coast Guard

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Saturday's New England Football Conference (NEFC) Bogan Division showdown between Bridgewater State and Coast Guard will be webcast live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/coast-guard-sports.  This is an audio broadcast only.

Bridgewater enters Saturday's contest with an overall record of 2-3 with a 0-2 mark in the Bogan Division.  Coast Guard is 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in divisional play.

The visiting Bears, who lead the all-time series 3-2, posted a 27-6 win over Coast Guard last season.  Running back Justin Fuller rushed for 156 yards and a score while quarterback Steve Clark added 133 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns to lead Bridgewater to the victory.

Coast Guard has struggled the past two seasons versus Bridgewater in the battle of the Bears. BSU is the only Bogan Division team that has beaten Coast Guard by ten points or more in each of the last two seasons. Bridgewater has outscored Coast Guard 65-13 in the last two meetings, winning 38-7 in 2008 as well as the 27-6 decision last year.

This week’s game features the bottom two scoring offenses in the NEFC. Coast Guard is second to last scoring 11.2 points per game while Bridgewater State is last in scoring offense with 10.2 points per game.

Defensively, Bridgewater is ranked fifth in total defense (270.4 ypg) and seventh in rushing defense (128.8 ypg) while Coast Guard checks in sixth overall in total defense (278.0 ypg) and eighth in rushing defense (145.8 ypg).  Bridgewater, however, is last in the conference in defensive pass efficiency rating (141.8), while Coast Guard leads the NEFC in that category with an impressive 80.1 rating.
