VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Junior left fielder Ian Williams (Taunton, Mass.) tripled in two runs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the score at 14-14 for Bridgewater State University against Salve Regina University in non-league baseball action at the Vero Beach Sports Village. Williams later scored the game-winner as Matt Barsaleau (Holland, Mass.) singled up the middle against a drawn in Seahawk infield.

Senior Brandon Bursie (Smithfield, R.I.) had roped a three-run double down the left field line, highlighting a five-run top of the ninth inning for Salve. With the rally, the Seahawks had taked a 14-11 lead, but Bridgewater responded with four runs in the bottom half of the inning capped off by Barsaleau's game-winning hit.

The Seahawks were playing in their first game on their spring break trip while the Bears ended their trip with a record of 5-2.
