BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- It has truly been one crazy season. From summer practices, to NCA Camp, to finally cheering at football and basketball games again, to being able to compete in-person after two years, and now a National Title!

We are so proud of these bears for pushing through adversity and coming together as a family. This championship title is well deserved. The work is worth it!

The Bears captured the Intermediate All-Girl Division III national title with an impressive total score of 97.37 points at the 2022 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championships in Daytona, Florida.

Bridgewater's total of 97.37 points in the Intermediate All-Girl Division III competition marked the highest score for a BSU cheerleading team at the national championship meet under head coach Jason Manhart. The Bears were also the ninth highest scoring team in Daytona across all divisions.

This marks the sixth national championship for Bridgewater State cheerleading. The Bears captured the All-Girl Advanced title in 2011, 2014, 2019 and 2021, as well as the Intermediate Small Coed championship in 2021.
