BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior libero Victoria Caiano has been voted to the 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball All-Conference Second Team by the league's eight head coaches. Caiano is making her first appearance on the All-MASCAC Volleyball Team.
In 20 matches this season, Caiano recorded a team-best 235 digs to go along with 26 aces, 66 assists and a pair of kills.
Caiano, who hails from Acushnet, Massachusetts, ranked seventh in the MASCAC in digs per set (3.46).
In 63 matches over her first three seasons with the Bears, Caiano has amassed 786 digs, 103 aces and 151 assists to go along with 19 kills.
The BSU volleyball team wrapped up the 2022 campaign with an overall record of 9-11. Seeded fifth in the MASCAC Tournament with a 3-4 conference mark, the Bears dropped a 3-0 decision to fourth-seeded Worcester State University in the tournament quarterfinal round.
