SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-21) decision to host Springfield College at the Tom Hay Invitational on Saturday.

Junior middle hitter Shelly DePina (New Bedford, Mass.) led the Bears (6-7) with eight kills, four digs and two aces, while freshman hitter Tayler Beck (Marion, Mass.) added seven kills and three digs.  Senior outside hitter Kristina Campbell (Taunton, Mass.) chipped in with six kills and an ace, and senior outside hitter Natalie Cohen (Marstons Mills, Mass.) finished with four kills, three digs and a pair of aces.

Bridgewater wraps up the tournament with a noontime match with Westfield State.
