Volleyball Wraps Up Play at the Wellesley Invitational

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College vollyball team wrapped up play at the Wellesley Invitational on Saturday.  BSC dropped a 3-1 decision to Nazareth College and then bowed to Skidmore College, 3-0.

Sophomore Julie Clerc (Acushnet, MA) paced the Bears with 19 kills, seven aces, 16 digs and a pair of blocks in the two matches.  She recorded eight kills, four aces and 11 digs against Nazareth and finished with 11 kills, three aces and five digs versus Skidmore.

Fellow sophomore Natalie Cohen (Marstons Mills, MA) chipped in with 44 aces and five kills, including 27 assists in the loss to Nazareth. 

The Bears (5-19) will host MASCAC rival Salem State College on Tuesday evening at 6 PM.
