Volleyball Drops Pair of Matches at JWU Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Bridgewater State College volleyball team lost a pair of matches at the Johnson and Wales Invitational on Friday evening.  The Bears dropped a 3-0 decision to Connecticut College, and then fell to Western Connecticut State University also by the score of 3-0.

Bridgewater (0-5) will take on Keene State College tomorrow at noon followed by a 2 PM match against tournament host Johnson and Wales.

Sophomore outside hitter Julie Clerc (Acushnet, MA) paced the Bears with 19 kills and 18 digs in the two matches, including 10 kills and 12 digs in the loss to Western Connecticut.  Sophomore setter Natalie Cohen (Marstons Mills, MA) also added 41 assists.
