Box Score | Endicott Invitational Tournament Bracket

BEVERLY, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Eastern Connecticut State University in opening round play of the Endicott Invitational Tournament on Friday evening.

The Bears dropped the opening game of the match, 25-18, and then lost 25-20 and 25-18.  Bridgewater (0-1) will take on Emmanuel College on Saturday at 10 AM. Emmanuel fell to tournament host Endicott, 3-0, in their first round match.

Freshman outside hitter Shelly DePina (New Bedford, MA) paced the Bears with 5 kills, while sophomore hitter Julie Clerc (Acushnet, MA) registered 15 digs and senior setter Elsa Apostoli (Natick, MA) notched 14 assists.
