Coach Abdulkadir joined the BSU track & field coaching staff prior to the 2018 season. Abdulkadir is a 2014 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston where he earned a B.A. in Exercise and Health Science Athletic Training. He was a captain his senior year on the Beacons' cross country and track & field team and is the program record holder in the indoor triple jump and a member of three record setting relay teams.
Prior to coming to Bridgewater State, Hamza served as an assistant cross country and track and field coach for his alma-mater from 2014-2018, where helped coach both Beacons’ women’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams to National Championships. Hamza was also named the USTFCCCA New England Regional Women’s Assistant Coach of The Year in May of 2017.
Coach Abdulkadir currently resides in Quincy, Mass. and works at the Jordan Boys & Girls Club in Chelsea, Mass. as the Teen Program Manager.
