BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Lindsey Golden has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week.

Golden placed third in the high jump this past weekend at the Bowdoin Invitational with a season-best and DIII New Englands qualifying mark of five feet, 1.5 inches (1.56m). The Mansfield, Massachusetts product currently ranks 19th in New England in the high jump.

In upcoming action, qualifying members of the BSU women's indoor track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Middlebury College on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th.
