Madison Ashley Named MASCAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Madison Ashley has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Ashley placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.68 seconds this past weekend at the Bowdoin Invitational. The Freetown, Massachusetts product currently ranks 49th in New England in the 200.

In upcoming action, qualifying members of the BSU women's indoor track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships hosted by Middlebury College on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th.
