Northampton, Mass. -- Senior Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, Mass.) placed tenth in the pentathlon at the New England Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Smith College on Friday.

Robitaille posted a score of 2,890 points in the pentathlon as she tied for fifth in the high jump (4'11.50") and placed sixth in the 800-meter run (2:34.06), seventh in the long jump (16'1.50"), eighth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.94 seconds) and 17th in the shot put (24'1.00").

Kelly Curtis of Springfield College won the regional pentathlon championship with a score of 3,211 points.
