Robitaille, Rouillard Lead Women's Track at Harvard Open

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's track and field team competed at the Harvard Open on Saturday in their final meet before the winter break.

Junior Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, Mass.) set a pair of BSU school records in the long jump and the triple jump as she finished 11th and 13th respectively at the meet.

Robitaille posted a leap of 16'7.00" in the long jump to eclipse the previous BSU standard of 16'4.00" set by Rachel Smith in 2006.  She recorded a distance of 34'7.50" in the triple jump to break the school mark of 33'11.50" set by Whitney White also in 2006.

Junior Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) also produced a strong performance for the Bears in the 400-meter dash as she placed ninth with a time of 1:01.11.
