NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's outdoor track and field team placed third at the MASCAC Championships with a total of 98 points.
Junior Brittany Page (Winthrop, MA) and sophomore Co Davis (Mansfield, MA) captured individual event titles for the Bears. Page took home top conference honors in the hammer throw (136 feet, 6 inches), while Davis was the first MASCAC sprinter to cross the finish line in the 400-meter hurdles (1:07.44).
Worcester State (215.5 pts) easily outdistanced Westfield State (141 pts) to claim the team championship. Fitchburg State (124.5 pts), Bridgewater, Salem State (31 pts) and Mass. Maritime Academy (4 pts) rounded out the scoring.
